That’s an interesting feature, I can add it to the list and keep you updated. I think that feature is along the lines of how I thought Home Inventory would be used.

I’ll add them to the list. I’m looking at updating Home Inventory to the latest version of Qt and adding other tasks, so notes and replacement costs may be a part of the next release.

Hey Paul,

I’ll look at what’s needed to translate Home Inventory into Norwegian. I’m currently using Nokia Qt and they have awesome support for translating an application into basically any language. I’ll keep you posted.

I like it! Simple to run, and the price is right. Program V2.2 had one crash when started under Vista, but then seems stable. Please add- Notes, Replacement Cost fields.

The application is simple and easy. Great. I have the application installed and running under Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit. I have not experienced a lot not issued under the OS. When entering Items, all the files are centered (name, manufacturer, category, location & item value). Is there a way to left justify the fields?

Also the window on the right had side is half the screen height. When you enlarge it, enter data, exit the application and restart it, the screen on the right returns to the half height position. Is there a way to set it to full screen and save settings on exit?

Please advise

Great software! There are some major bugs when saving new added items. Program crashes in Vista.
But of more interest, I would like to be able to build multiple templates for multiple users.

After i closed the program and restarted my pc the program doesn’t let me save any new items or category’s
